By creating an account or using the Gamanam apps, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Our service
Gamanam is a technology platform that connects riders with independent Saarathis. Saarathis are not employees of Gamanam, and we do not ourselves provide transport.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
- Keep your login and OTP private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Saarathis must hold a valid licence, vehicle registration and any permits required by law, and must complete verification.
Bookings, fares and payments
- The fare shown at booking is an estimate. The final fare may change with route, waiting time, tolls and demand.
- You can pay by UPI, card, wallet or cash where available. Wallet balances are used only for rides on Gamanam.
- Cancellation charges may apply if you cancel after a Saarathi has been assigned.
Safe and respectful use
- Treat riders, Saarathis and vehicles with respect. Harassment, discrimination and illegal activity are not allowed.
- Follow traffic laws, and wear a helmet on bike rides.
- Use SOS only for real emergencies.
Referrals and offers
Referral rewards and cashback are subject to the conditions shown in the app. We may change or end an offer, and may withhold rewards if we find misuse.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Liability
We work to keep the service reliable but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, Gamanam is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
